We had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Chen Hsien-Hung, the founder of CheeseSugar.

“When we first brainstormed our product lineup,” Mr. Chen shared, “we started with tarts because most options in the market were room-temperature fruit or nut tarts. We wanted to create something that could offer different textures—whether frozen, chilled, or heated.”

 

He continued, “Our cheese tart has a unique feature—it turns molten and creamy when heated, becomes mousse-like at room temperature, and even takes on an ice cream texture when frozen. That multi-layered experience is what we set out to perfect.”
